Measurements - usually I take the measurements myself at a measuring session or accept measurements from the studio if they already have it available. Design Consultation - this can be in person, done via email  or zoom. Here I would need the name of the routine, design direction, number of dancers and dance style (acro, tap, etc.). I usually do in person meetings for first time clients so they get to know who they will be working with. Knowing your budget for each costume will assist in the fabric/material selection and design process. Sketches & fabric options for approval (1-2 weeks) - in most cases studios will have their drawings and inspiration photos which can reduce this time frame. Otherwise, I use the information from the design consultation to draw sketches and find fabric options that will achieve your desired look. The cost per costume will be included.  Once the designs and fabrics are approved you will receive an invoice and a 50% deposit is required to begin. Fitting Session - I usually come in for an in-person fitting session (usually only one is needed). If all the dancers are not available on the same day I will drop off all costumes and the fittings can be done during the week by the dance studio team. You can take photos/video and share via WhatsApp or email if needed and pin the garments with safety pins. (Some parts of the garment might be loosely stitched and extra fabric allowance might be inside to allow for easy alterations. At fitting 25% is due. Finishing Costumes - garments are finished based on the fitting session and final details such as rhinestones, appliqués etc are added. Final delivery - I aim to deliver costumes at least 2 weeks before comps, however this time frame is not guaranteed as alterations can impact the final delivery date. The 25% balance is due on the final delivery date. Costumes can be picked up or shipped/delivered to the studio. Make Me Fancy reserves the right to change the payment structure on a case by case basis. Late Payments - late payments will incur a fee of 2% fee per day on the outstanding balance. This fee is applied starting on the day after the delivery date.
